Payments, Appointments and Cancellation Policy
Payment
Payment must be made by bank transfer, credit, or debit card before the first session (for all services). Payment confirms your booking. Payment plans are available—please contact me if you are interested.
Online Sessions
For online sessions (e.g., via Teams), it is your responsibility to have a working internet connection. If you are unable to connect at the scheduled time and I am waiting, the session will still be charged.
Cancellations and Missed Sessions
Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed sessions, must be paid in full. To cancel an appointment, please contact me via email or text.
Trainer Cancellations
If I need to cancel an appointment at short notice, I will offer an alternative date and time as close as possible to the original booking. Clients on a monthly PT subscription will continue to receive their three prescribed workouts per week, regardless of any rescheduled sessions.
Subscriptions
Monthly PT subscriptions and Progress Partner memberships are non-refundable once the billing period has started.
Clients on monthly PT subscriptions and Progress Partner memberships are required to provide one month’s notice to cancel their subscription.Confidentiality & Data Use
All sessions are confidential. It is confidential that you are a client of FGR Health & Personal Training, as well as what you discuss in your sessions. There are however some limits and exceptions to confidentiality. For example, if I have serious concerns about your safety or the safety of another person, normal confidentiality may be lifted.You will be asked to provide your GP’s contact details and details of someone that can be contacted in case of emergency. This information will be kept on a password protected database.It will be necessary to keep notes about the focus of our work and for me to create action plans and/or exercise plans for you. These are also kept securely according to GDPR and are password protected.Any reports produced by FGR Health & Personal Training to evaluate the service or for the purposes of research contain anonymised data and will not contain any identifying information of clients.Nurse & Personal Trainer Descriptor
I consider each client to be unique and recommend personalised programmes and/or advice rather than a ‘one size fits all’. I will never recommend anything that is a replacement for medical advice (outside my subject matter areas) and always refer clients with ‘red flag’ symptoms to their GP or other appropriate medical professional.Standards or professional practice in nursing are governed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and standards in personal training are governed by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA).The Client understands and agrees to the following:
· I am responsible for contacting my GP about any health concerns.· I am responsible for completing any health and fitness assessments or pre-consultation questionnaires that is required when working with FGR Health & Personal Training.· If am receiving treatment from my GP, or any other medical provider, I should tell them about working with FGR Health & Personal Training.· It is important that I tell FGR Health & Personal Training about any medical diagnosis, medications, herbal medicines, or food supplements I am taking as this may affect the advice or training that I receive.· If I am unclear about the agreed action plan and/or exercise plan, I should contact FGR Health & Personal Training promptly for clarification.· I understand that the advice is personal to me and may not be appropriate for others.· Recording consultations using any form of electronic media is not permitted without the written permission of both me and FGR Health & Personal Training.
